Stunning Value From Monterey

Our friend Eric Bonnet has sent us another shipment of his family’s wonderful Bastide St Dominque wines from the Southern Rhone Valley. These wines are made from certified organic grapes from old vine parcels amongst the Southern Rhone valley. The family estate, built around a former 16th century chapel a stone’s throw away from Châteauneuf du Pape, anchors the operation, buffeted by the gusts of the Mistral wind and bathed by the bright southern sun.

Eric studied winemaking in Beaune and that Burgundy background shows with his wines. Complex and full of flavor like all good Rhones, the energy and elegance that his wine's posses make them stand out from the crowd.
