What does this job entail?
For this part-time role, we are looking for a driver willing to deliver small orders for our customers. There will be established delivery windows that we offer to our customers and we will need our drivers to be on-call during this time. You will be paid from the time you pickup the deliveries and to the time it takes to arrive back at the store (or at an equal distanced location). The delivery windows will be Tuesday through Sunday, 2pm-5pm and 6pm-9pm. Rates start at $10/hr.
For this part-time role, we need people who can be scheduled across all 3 store locations: Great Falls, Vienna, and McLean. In this position you will be expected to meet all the business-related requests of the Store Manager. These will include completing all cleaning tasks multiple times per shift, stocking products per the manager’s floor plan, filling in as delivery driver when needed to complete customer orders, processing sales, and positively engaging with customers. This job is intended to not have no idle time, therefore you will be expected to be on your feet for the majority of every shift. Rates start at $12/hr. with opportunity to increase based on productivity, initiative, and interest.
The role of Assistant Manager at The Wine Outlet stores can be a full-time salaried or part-time hourly position. The Assistant Manager’s primary function is to support the store manager(s) in the daily operations of the store and in the execution of company goals and initiatives. This can include in-store sales and marketing, ensuring the high quality appearance of the floor and all products in accordance with Company policies, always putting your and the store’s best foot forward for all customers, scheduling and supervising part time staff, assisting with and overseeing deliveries, preparing products for display, developing and exhibiting wine and culinary knowledge and acting as an overall ambassador for The Wine Outlet. This role will be expected to support all three of the stores and all three of the managers as needed. Lastly, this role will be best suited towards someone who is detail oriented and a self-starter, excels at time management and customer service, and enjoys working in retail.Starting hourly rate: depends upon experience, but not less than $19/hr.
